Weather forecast: Relatively hot to hot conditions

 

RAMALLAH, Monday, June 10, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is relatively hot to hot in daytime and pleasant in nighttime with a slight rise of temperature which becomes 3°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature rises further on Tuesday approaching 5°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to unseasonably hot conditions.

Wednesday’s temperature is set to drop by 2°C with relatively hot to hot conditions in most districts and very hot conditions in the Jordan Valley.

Moderate to relatively hot conditions are expected for Thursday. Temperature is expected to drop and approach its seasonal average.
