RAMALLAH, Thursday, May 30, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is very hot with a further slight rise in temperature to become above its seasonal average by around 12 degrees Celsius, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly light to moderate and sea waves are low.

Temperature is expected to significantly drop on Friday, yet remaining hot to very hot and above its seasonal average.

Weather conditions remain hot to very hot during the daytime on Saturday and Sunday as temperatures are expected to further drop, becoming relatively cool in mountain areas and pleasant in most areas during the night hours.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long periods particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire in areas with dry leaves and grass.
