RAMALLAH, Monday, May 27, 2019 (WAFA) – Monday’s weather is relatively warm to warm conditions in mountainous districts and very warm conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a slight rise of temperature which approaches around 5°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Pleasant conditions are expected in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Tuesday’s temperature is set to slightly rise and approach 6°C above the seasonal average with relatively warm to warm conditions in daytime and pleasant conditions in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts.

Wednesday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 8°C above the seasonal average with warm to very warm conditions.

PMD expects Thursday’s temperature to remain steady with warm conditions in mountainous districts and very warm conditions in the Jordan Valley.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry leaves and grass.
