RAMALLAH, Sunday, May 26, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is abundantly sunny and hot with no significant change in temperature, which remains 4°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly, light to moderate and active at times. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A slight rise in temperature is expected for Monday and Tuesday to approach 6°C above the seasonal average.

Temperature continues to rise on Wednesday approaching 7°C above the seasonal average.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly during the peak hours of the day from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and setting fire to dry leaves and grass.
