HEBRON, Sunday, March 31, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday handed a notice informing two Palestinian citizen from Yatta town, south of Hebron, about their intention to demolish their homes for lack of an Israeli construction permit, according to local sources.
Rateb Jabour, a local anti-Israeli settlement activist, told WAFA that Israeli army handed Eid Nawaj’a and Musa Shawahin a notice informing them that their homes will be demolished soon.
The Israeli authorities claimed that the demolition would take place on the ground that the house was built without an Israeli construction permit.
In recent years, Israeli occupation authorities demolished hundreds of homes in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem on the grounds of lacking an Israeli construction permit, which is almost impossible to obtain for Palestinians under current Israeli policies.
