RIYADH, August 22, 2025 (WAFA) - Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's deep concern in light of the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) report and the official declaration of famine in the Gaza Strip.

It also condemned the genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against defenseless civilians.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirmed that the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza is a direct result of the absence of mechanisms to deter and hold accountable the repeated crimes of the Israeli occupation.

“This will remain a stain upon the international community, particularly the permanent members of the Security Council, unless it steps in immediately to end the famine and stop the war of genocide and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people,” said the ministry in a post on X.
