Israeli forces order Palestinian to stop construction work on rainwater harvesting well

HEBRON, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces notified a Palestinian resident in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, to stop the construction work on his privately-owned rainwater harvesting well, said a local activist.

The popular committee coordinator in Yatta, Rateb al-Jabour, told WAFA Israeli forces handed Fareed al-Jabour, a stop construction order on his privately-owned rainwater harvesting well.

The activist condemned the Israeli authorities’ measures in the area, which he stressed come as a prelude to take over Palestinian land in southern Hebron for the benefit of settlement expansion.
