RAMALLAH, September 30, 2018 (WAFA) – A cameraman working for Reuters News Agency Sunday was shot and injured with a rubber-coated steel bullet, while others suffocated by tear gas fired by Israeli forces during clashes that broke out in Batn al-Hawa area in Ramallah governorate, said WAFA correspondent.
The cameraman, who was identified as Mohammed Turkman was shot in the foot with a rubber-coated steel bullet during clashes that broke out as Israeli forces raided Batn al-Hawa area in Ramallah.
Israeli forces stormed Batn al-Hawa, and blocked several roads leading to the area before surrounding a residential building there, provoking residents and leading to clashes.
Forces used rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters against the Palestinian residents, causing several suffocation cases among them.
Two Palestinian men and a woman were reportedly detained during the clashes.
