Israeli police bans 7 Palestinians from entering al-Aqsa

JERUSALEM, April 14, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli police decided on Friday to ban seven Palestinians, including a minor, from entering al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem for two weeks, according to local sources.

The seven were leaving the holy compound following Friday prayers when the police stopped and briefly detained them, before the seven were told of the police decision not to allow them to enter the holy site for two weeks.

Israeli police, although not in charge of running the holy sites in Jerusalem, has repeatedly banned Muslim worshipers from entering the sites, citing security reasons.
