Israeli forces demolish house, industrial facility, near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, May 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces began demolishing a house and an industrial facility in Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah, on Monday.

Activist Mohammad Hamdan told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers stormed the agricultural area and began demolishing the one-story, 120-square-meter house of citizen Izz Sharif Nakhla, along with its surrounding wall, under the pretext of building without a permit. He noted that Nakhla had submitted all the necessary official documents to the occupation authorities but was surprised by the demolition today.

He added that the occupation bulldozers also demolished a commercial facility containing drilling equipment and building materials. They confiscated the keys to the trucks located there and threatened the owners with the confiscation of the remaining equipment if it was not removed within three days. It is worth noting that the occupation forces had demolished the facility several months ago, also under the pretext of building without a permit.
