HEBRON, March 8, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight and early Wednesday detained nine Palestinians, including three university students, from across the West Bank districts, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
In Hebron, forces detained four Palestinians after raiding and wreaking havoc into their homes in the Hebron area. Forces raided and searched several other homes and commercial shops in the city of Hebron, however, no further arrests were reported.
Israeli soldiers detained a university student from the town of Y’abod to the southwest of Jenin as he attempted to cross a military checkpoint erected between Nablus and Tulkarem, in the West Bank. He was taken to an unknown destination.
Forces also detained another youth from Jenin’s refugee camp at a nearby military checkpoint.
In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, the Israeli army detained two university students after raiding and searching their family homes.
Meanwhile in Bethlehem, forces detained a 23-year-old youth after raiding and searching his family home in Hindaza area to the east.
