RAMALLAH, March 6, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday shot dead a Palestinian activist during a raid into the city of al-Bireh, in the central West Bank, local sources said.
Basel Mahmoud al-Araj, 33, from the village of al-Walja, west of Bethlehem, was killed when Israeli soldiers broke into a house he was hiding inside in al-Bireh. His body was reportedly kidnapped after the soldiers withdrew from the area.
According to medical sources, two Palestinians were injured during clashes with Israeli forces in the area.
