RAMALLAH, November 17, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained at least 18 Palestinians during overnight raids across the West Bank and Jerusalem, said Palestinian sources on Thursday.

In occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli police detained four 15-year-old Palestinian minors from the Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya accused of throwing stones at Israeli vehicles, and another person from Jabal al-Mukabbir, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society.

WAFA correspondent said police ransacked and wreaked havoc inside several homes, spreading panic among children and women.

In Bethlehem district, Israeli forces raided Zaatara, a town east of the city, and detained two brothers.

Two men and woman were also detained during a predawn raid into Tuqoa, east of Bethlehem.

In Hebron district, forces raided the town of Bani Naim, east of Hebron, and detained a 26-year-old woman who is pursuing her master’s studies at a local university.

Elsewhere in Hebron district, forces conducted predawn raids into Yatta and Deir Samet, searching and tampering with the contents of several homes and detaining two Palestinians.

In the northern West Bank, undercover Israeli forces grabbed a Palestinian while he was en route from his hometown of Silat al-Dhaher, south of Jenin, to his work. Troops later raided the town and searched the home of the detainee and interrogated relatives.

Two Palestinians from the Jenin area village of Araqa were detained in a restaurant and a carwash in the Arab city of Umm al-Fahim inside Israel.

In Tulkarem district, forces raided Tulkarem refugee camp and detained a Palestinian after breaking into his family home.

Forces also detained a Palestinian from Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.
