RAMALLAH, January 8, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli army units arrested
14 people in the Hebron, Nablus and Bethlehem areas, local and
security sources told WAFA on Wednesday.
In the Hebron area south of the West Bank, army forces arrested five people ranging in age between 19 and 22 during a night raid on the village of Samoa.
Sources said the soldiers destroyed furniture of the houses they raided.
Two others were reported arrested in Arroub refugee camp and
in Yatta, also in the Hebron area.
Forces also arrested six people from Nablus in the north of the West Bank and in the nearby village of Burin.
According to security sources, soldiers arrested three people in the city of Nablus during a night raid on their homes. They said the soldiers used stun grenades during the raid.
A fourth Nablus resident was arrested on Tuesday while
travelling through Allenby (al-Karama) border point between the West Bank and
Jordan.
Two other people were arrested at the village of Burin.
In Bethlehem, to the south of Jerusalem, Israeli forces arrested
15-year-old Ahmad Suwies in a raid at his family home during the night.
