RAMALLAH, January 15, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that partly cloudy skies are expected for today, Thursday, with a slight rise in temperatures, though the weather will remain cold, especially in the mountainous areas. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the west to northwest. Sea waves will be low.
This evening and tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy and very cold. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the west to northwest. Sea waves will be low.
Tomorrow, Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy with another slight rise in temperatures, though it will remain cold, especially in the mountainous areas. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the northeast to northwest. Sea waves will be low.
The weather on Saturday is expected to have partly cloudy skies with little change in temperatures, remaining cold, especially in mountainous areas. Light rain is expected in some areas, particularly in the north, during the evening and night. Winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming brisk, from the southwest to northwest. Sea waves will be low to moderate.
On Sunday, the country will be affected by a low-pressure system, bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies and cold to very cold temperatures. A drop in temperatures is expected, and rain is forecast for most areas, becoming heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail. Winds will be moderate to brisk from the southwest to northwest. Sea waves will be moderate to high.
The PMD warned citizens of the risk of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall and of reduced horizontal visibility due to fog.
