Palestinian critically injured in Israeli drone strike in Khan Younis

GAZA, July 25, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian was critically injured on Saturday evening in an Israeli strike targeting the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that a Palestinian sustained critical injuries after an Israeli drone struck the vicinity of Street 5 in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out two demolitions east of Khan Younis on Saturday.

In the meantime, health authorities reported that the death toll from Israel's aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,317, with 173,961 others injured.

The sources added that the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,191, while 3,853 have been injured and the bodies of 803 Palestinians have been recovered.
