Weather: Cloudy, very cold conditions; scattered rain expected

Ramallah, January 14, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast that Wednesday's weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy, cold to very cold, with a chance of scattered rain in some areas. A slight rise in temperatures is expected. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, brisk. Sea waves will be high.

In the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy and very cold, with a continued chance of scattered rain in some areas. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate to brisk. Sea waves will be moderate to high.

On Thursday, the weather will be partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures, remaining cold. There is a slight chance of light, local rain in some areas until midday. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate, occasionally becoming brisk. Sea waves will be moderate.

Meanwhile on Friday, partly cloudy skies are expected with a slight rise in temperatures, remaining cold, especially in mountainous areas. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the east to northeast. Sea waves will be low.

On Saturday, partly cloudy skies are expected with little change in temperatures, remaining cold, especially in mountainous areas. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the west to northwest. Sea waves will be low.

The PMD warned against the risk of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall and reduced horizontal visibility due to fog formation.
