RAMALLAH, January 12, 2026 (WAFA) – An elderly citizen, 73, was killed on Monday night in a traffic accident that occurred on the Ein Siniya road, north of Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate.
Police spokesperson Brig. Gen. Louay Arizikat said the accident occurred after a vehicle collided with a truck that was parked along the side of the main road on the Ein Siniya route, resulting in injuries to two people who were transferred to a hospital in Ramallah.
Doctors later confirmed the killing of one of the injured, the driver, while a woman sustained moderate injuries.
Arizikat confirmed that the Public Prosecution was notified, while traffic police launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
