RAMALLAH, July 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Vice President of the State of Palestine and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Hussein al-Sheikh welcomed the New York Conference Declaration issued by the participating countries.
The declaration called for the recognition of the State of Palestine, the revival of the political process based on the two-state solution, the restoration of international legitimacy, an end to the war in the Gaza Strip, and the immediate and unhindered delivery of aid.
Al-Sheikh affirmed his commitment to the contents of President Mahmoud Abbas's letter to French President Emmanuel Macron and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
