RAMALLAH, June 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Vice President of the State of Palestine and Deputy Chairman of the PLO, Hussein Al-Sheikh welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
In an official statement, Al-Sheikh urged an immediate halt to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people — particularly in the besieged Gaza Strip — and called for the launch of a credible political process to end the Israeli occupation.
He emphasized the urgent need to implement international law and uphold UN resolutions.
