RAMALLAH, February 7, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas has extended his condolences to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune following the passing of former Algerian Prime Minister Sid Ahmed Ghozali.

In a message of condolence, President Abbas stated, "With faith in God's will and destiny, I have received the news of the passing of our esteemed brother, Sid Ahmed Ghozali, former Prime Minister of Algeria."

He further expressed his sympathies, saying, "I extend my heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency, and through you, to the government, the brotherly people of Algeria, and the esteemed family of the deceased. I pray that God Almighty grants him His vast mercy, places him in His eternal paradise, and blesses you and your people with prosperity and well-being."
