PARIS, December 30, 2024 (WAFA) – The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Monday the Israeli occupation forces' attacks on hospitals in the Gaza Strip, calling on Israel to comply with international humanitarian law.
In a statement, the French Ministry expressed concern over the detention of health workers and the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safiya, by the occupation forces.
The statement emphasized that international humanitarian law mandates the protection of hospital infrastructure and confirmed that the situation endured by civilians in Gaza for a prolonged period is "unacceptable," calling for a ceasefire to be reached as soon as possible.
