RAMALLAH, December 19, 2024 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the international community, countries, institutions, United Nations organizations and international courts to deal with the utmost seriousness with the investigation conducted by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz regarding the confessions of Israeli occupation officers and soldiers to shooting in cold blood at Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
It indicated in a statement today that the investigation sheds light on the soldiers' filming of slain Palestinians and leaving their bodies on the ground for dogs to devour and other crimes that are shameful to humanity, including the use of starvation and thirst as methods of war, which confirms that targeting civilians is deliberate and intentional by the occupation.
The ministry stressed that the investigation has once again proven the credibility of the decisions of the International Criminal Court and the International Justice regarding the Israeli government's dehumanization of Palestinian civilians and the systematic and deliberate commission of genocide.
It called for serious and real international action and giving absolute priority to an immediate cessation of fire and the war of extermination to protect citizens and secure their full civil and human rights as stated in international humanitarian law.
