NABLUS, December 12, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian young man and a child were injured by Israeli gunfire on Thursday evening during an Israeli military raid on the town of Beit Furik, located east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, a 34-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were both shot in the leg and hand, respectively, while Israeli forces were carrying out the raid.
In addition to the gunshot injuries, dozens of people were treated for suffocation due to the inhalation of tear gas used by the Israeli military during the incursion.
The sources indicated that several Israeli military patrols stormed various neighborhoods in Beit Furik, where heavy gunfire and the use of toxic gas led to confrontations between local residents and the Israeli forces.
