Israeli occupation authorities impose fines on Palestinian vehicles in occupied Jerusalem

JWEUSALEM, December, 11, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation municipality crews in Jerusalem imposed financial fines on citizens' vehicles in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Local sources reported that the occupation municipality crews stormed the Ras Al-Amud neighborhood in the town and imposed financial fines on citizens' vehicles.

These fines are a means of punishment used by the occupation against Palestinians, as they are imposed under flimsy pretexts and arguments. On November 20, the occupation imposed a fine of 50 thousand shekels on a Jerusalemite citizen and his wife under the pretext of parking their vehicles on a land claimed to be a Jewish cemetery in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque
