President Abbas to chair weekly government session in Ramallah

RAMALLAH, November, 26, 2024 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to chair the weekly government meeting today as part of his follow-up on the field conditions in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the government's efforts and interventions to provide relief to the Palestinian people and strengthen their steadfastness.

Director of the Government Communication Center, Mohammed Abu al-Rub, said in a phone call with WAFA that the government is holding its meeting later today at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, to be chaired by the President, as part of following up on his directives to work at all levels to stop the Israeli aggression, and intensify efforts with international institutions to bring in humanitarian aid and provide relief to our people.

He added that the session is set also to  discuss the efforts being made within the first phase of the national development program, which the government recently launched in consultation with relevant parties, including civil society and the private sector, to help the national economy emerge from its crisis and accelerate recovery from the deep shock caused by the aggression on Gaza and the West Bank.
