KAZAN, October 24, 2024 (WAFA) – President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas received on Thursday with the President of the New Development Bank managed by the BRICS group of countries, Dilma Rousseff, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit held in the Russian city of Kazan.
President Abbas reviewed the latest Palestinian developments, the ongoing efforts to stop the occupation's comprehensive aggression against Palestinian people, the crimes of genocide, accelerate the entry of humanitarian aid, withdraw from the entire Gaza Strip, and stop the attacks of the occupation forces and terrorist colonists in the West Bank.
The President touched on the difficult economic and financial conditions that the State of Palestine is going through, as a result of the occupation's aggression against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the financial siege practiced by Israel through the continued withholding of clearance funds, and the strangulation of the Palestinian economy.
