GAZA, , Thursday, April 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Two civilians today were killed and others injured in an Israeli artillery shelling  targeting civilians homes in the Bureij and Nuseirat camps in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that a civilian was killed and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house belonging to the Al-Oweidat family, east of Al-Bureij camp.

In the meantime, a female civilian was also killed and several of others sustained injuries in an artillery air raids that hit homes north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has resulted in 34,305 documented Palestinian fatalities so far, with the majority being children and women. In addition, 77,293 injuries have been documented since the start of the onslaught.

In this context, thousands of people are still trapped under the rubble of destroyed houses and buildings, presumed dead, and that civil and ambulance crews are unable to reach them due to the ongoing Israeli shelling and a lack of adequate equipment.
