RAMALLAH, Thursday, April 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli forces early Thursday  handed an order to demolish the family house of a Palestinian detainee in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in the city of Ramallah.

The occupation forces took measurements of the residential apartment of the detainee Aysar Barghouthi, in preparation for its demolition on January 16.

Barghouti was detained on January 7 after the residential building in which he lived was surrounded.

Earlier morning, confrontations broke out between local residents and the occupation forces following their military incursion into the city of Ramallah, during which the occupation forces attack residents with heavy gunfire, resulting in the killing of 16-year-old Khaled Arouq.

Arouq was critically wounded in the abdomen and was rushed to the Palestine Medical Complex, where he was later pronounced dead.

Dozens of Israeli military vehicles broke into the city of Ramallah and stationed in the Ramallah Al-Tahta and Al-Tira neighborhoods near Al-Sariya roundabout, and Umm Al-Sharayet in the city of Al-Bireh, where they raided and ransacked a house.
