JERUSALEM, Friday, August 25, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli forces today quelled an anti-settlement rally in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, and detained one of the protesters.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli forces attacked participants in the rally, including foreign and Arab activists, who rallied against Israel’s ethnic cleansing policy aiming to uproot the Palestinian residents and replace them with Jewish settlers.
Forces detained a Jerusalemite activist after assaulting him.
