QAQILIA, Friday, August 25, 2023 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians suffocated today after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli forces attacking and suppressing the weekly anti-settlement march in Kafr Qaddoum village to the east of Qalqilia, according to a local activist.

The coordinator of the popular resistance committee in the village, Murad Ishtawi, told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces stormed the said town and attacked the march with tear gas canisters, causing dozens to suffocate due to tear gas inhalation.

They were all treated at the scene.

Demonstrators also rallied to protest Israel’s continued crimes against Palestinians across the occupied Palestinian territories.
