RAMALLAH, Tuesday, August 8, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today detained 25 Palestinians, mostly ex-prisoners, during a large-scale detention campaign across the occupied West Bank.
At least 13 Palestinians, mostly ex-prisoners, were detained by Israeli occupation soldiers following a raid into their houses in town of Kobar, to the northwest of Ramallah city.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police raided the old city, where they detained three Palestinians.
The police carried out a military raid in the town of Abu Dis, east of the city, and detained two.
In north of the West Bank, a special Israeli forces unit raided the town Zababdeh town, south of Jenin, and kidnapped two siblings.
The soldiers also raided the village of Siris, where they detained an ex-prisoner.
In south of the West Bank, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian from Aida camp and another two from Al-Azza camp, north of the city.
In Hebron, also in the south of the West Bank, Israeli occupation soldiers conducted a military raid in the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city, which resulted in the detention of two ex-prisoners, aged 22.
Since the beginning of this year, Israeli detained more than 4,400, including women and children, across the West Bank.
