Osama Makhamreh, an activist against settlements in the south of Hebron, told WAFA that a Palestinian, who was identified as Hisham al-Hrini, and his wife sustained bruises and fractures after being severally beaten up at the hands of Israeli soldiers at the entrance of Carmel-Tawana in Masafer Yatta. They were transferred to a nearby medical clinic for treatment.

Forces also placed a flying checkpoint at the Carmel-Masafer Yatta Road, where they searched Palestinian-registered vehicles and checked the identity cards of passengers.
