RAMALLAH, Sunday, February 5, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces last night arrested six Palestinians after raiding their homes in the occupied West Bank, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
In Jenin province, north of the region, forces stormed the town of Arraba and arrested Khader Adnan, an ex-Palestinian prisoner, after raiding his home and terrorizing his family in middle of the night. Adnan had previously went on hunger strikes several times in protest of his detention by Israeli occupation authorities without charge or trial.
Occupation forces also stormed the neighboring towns and villages of Ajja and Bir al-Basha, where at least two more Palestinians were arrested by the attacking Israeli forces after raiding and searching their homes.
In Hebron province, Israeli occupation forces arrested a young Palestinian man after raiding and searching his family home in the town of Bani Na’im.
In Bethlehem province, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Fajjar, where they arrested two Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes in middle of the night.
Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at night-time, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
