RAMALLAH, Sunday, July 24, 2022 (WAFA) – Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, today condemned the Israeli crime in Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, in which two young Palestinians, Mohammad Bashar Azizi, 25, and Abderrahman Jamal Soboh, 28, were shot dead by Israeli occupation soldiers after midnight.

“This Israeli crime will not defeat our people and will not break their will,” said Abu Rudeineh in a statement to the official Voice of Palestine radio.

He added, “The Israeli occupation's continuing aggression against our people is not something new [in the history of] the Israeli occupation’s governments. The entire region will remain in a cycle of violence until the occupation is ended and a just peace is achieved."

Abu Rudeineh pointed out that the PLO Executive Committee will meet soon to discuss the political situation in the aftermath of US President Joe Biden’s visit to Palestine.

He said President Mahmoud Abbas informed US President Joe Biden during their meeting in Bethlehem that the decisions of the PLO Central Council cannot be postponed indefinitely, and that they are on the table.
