Occupation forces detain 11 Palestinians in Ramallah

RAMALLAH, Sunday, July 3, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 11 Palestinians last night after raiding their homes in several towns and villages in the occupied West Bank province of Ramallah, according to Palestinian security sources.

They told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Silwad in middle of the night, raided a number of homes and arrested five Palestinians, including a minor, 17-year-old Mohammad Derar Hamed.

Forces also stormed the nearby village of Yabrud, where they reportedly arrested one Palestinian was reportedly after raiding his home.

Meantime, the Israeli occupation army broke into the village of Nabi Saleh and arrested four Palestinians, all from the Tamimi clan.

At King Hussein Bridge border crossing, on the West Bank-Jordan border, Israeli occupation authorities arrested a Palestinian man, Abdul-Hafez Ayyash, from the village of Kafr Malek in Ramallah province, while he was coming back home from Jordan.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
