RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 16, 2022 (WAFA) - A Palestinian prisoner from Bethlehem completed today 19 years behind Israeli bars for resisting the occupation, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
PPS said prisoner Ismail Hamdan, 54, was subjected to a long harsh investigation following his arrest and sentenced to six lifetimes in jail.
Ismail is a father of four; two of whom died while he was in jail. He obtained a bachelor's degree while in detention, and is currently incarcerated in the Rimon Israeli prison.
