RAMALLAH, Friday, July 23, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today detained eight Palestinians, including four freed prisoners from Israeli jails, from multiple West Bank districts, according to security sources and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli forces detained four Palestinians, including three free prisoners aged 21, 43, and 44, in Tubas city and the town of Tammun to the south of Tubas, said PPS.
Forces detained a freed prisoner after raiding and searching his family home in the town of Qabatiya to the south of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Forces also set up several flying checkpoints in the vicinity of towns and villages to the south of Jenin.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus during the pre-dawn hours, leading to clashes.
Forces fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades towards the town residents, shooting and injuring a youth in the mouth. Three people were reportedly detained during the clashes.
