Israeli occupation forces detain 10 Palestinians in the occupied territories

RAMALLAH, Thursday, July 08, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today detained at least 10 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied territories, according to local and Palestinian security sources.

They said that Israeli forces rounded up five Palestinians, including a 44-year-old man and his 18-year-old son, after breaking into and searching their house in Arroub refugee camp, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

They also rounded up another man after storming his house in Hebron city.

The sources confirmed a similar Israeli military raid in al-Dahiriya town, south of Hebron, where the soldiers stormed a house and stole 12,000 shekels in cash (some $3,700).

In Bethlehem district, Israeli military stormed al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, where troops detained another Palestinian and ransacked the house of his family, turning it upside down.

Meanwhile, Israeli police detained a Palestinian from his family home in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Isawiyya.

They also detained a girl after brutally beating her up at King Faisal Gate, also known as Bab al-Atim, inside Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.

Israeli forces also raided Abu Dis town, east of Jerusalem, where they detained a member of the town municipality after storming his house.
