RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 08, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces last night detained at least nine Palestinians during raids targeting populated communities across the occupied West Bank, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
In Bethlehem province, south of the occupied West Bank, the Israeli occupation army broke into Dheisha refugee camp and the village of Husan, where they detained five Palestinian citizens after raiding and searching their homes. Most of the detainees are in their twenties.
Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Awarta and Beit Iba, in the occupied West Bank district of Nablus, and detained three Palestinian citizens.
In the district of Ramallah, in the center of the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Bayt Rima and detained at least one Palestinian.
Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military occupation regime.
