RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 11, 2021 (WAFA) – At least nine Palestinians were detained by the Israeli occupation forces early today morning and last night, during raids in the occupied West Bank districts of Bethlehem and Jenin, and in occupied East Jerusalem, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
In Jenin district, north of the West Bank, the Israeli occupation army broke into the town of Qabatiya and detained three Palestinian civilians, all in the twenties of age, after raiding and searching their families’ homes.
In Bethlehem district, south of the West Bank, the occupation army raided the village of Harmala and detained three Palestinian young men, also in the twenties of age, after raiding and searching their homes.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli police stormed the neighborhood of al-Isawiya, where they detained three Palestinians, including two brothers who were identified as Ahmad and Majed Darwish.
Clashes reportedly broke out in the neighborhood between Israeli police and teenagers during the raid.
Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
