RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 21, 2021 (WAFA) – Ameer Sabatin, a Palestinian in Israeli detention, has contracted coronavirus at the Israeli detention facility of Etzion in the south of the occupied West Bank, today said the Palestinian Committee of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.
The Committee said in a statement that Sabatin was moved to solitary confinement in Ramle Prison shortly after he tested positive for the highly contagious virus.
With this latest case, the number of Palestinian prisoner and detainees in Israeli detention who have contracted COVID-19 since the first outbreak of the pandemic last year rose to 368.
