JERUSALEM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 (WAFA) - A Palestinian prisoner serving a sentence of nine lifetimes in Israeli jails for resisting its occupation completed today 19 years behind bars.

Forty-seven years-old Firas Sadeq al-Hatawi, a father of four from the town of Kufr 'Aqab, to the north of the occupied city of Jerusalem, completed today 19 years in Israeli jails.

Hatawi suffers from multiple chronic diseases and obesity. He has been subjected to deliberate medical negligence by the Israeli prison service (IPS), which further worsened his health condition due to a long delay in providing him with the appropriate treatment.

He was numerously punished by IPS for demanding to get the necessary treatment.
