RAMALLAH, January 26, 2012 (WAFA) - The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) in the Palestinian Territory decreased by 0.13% in December 2011 compared to November of the same year, a report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said Thursday.
It said the PPI for exported products decreased by 0.05% in December, while PPI for locally consumed products decreased by 0.14% compared to November 2011.
PCBS said changes in the December prices were due to an increase in manufacturing group by 0.01% and a decrease in agricultural goods by 0.33% and in fishing by 9.17% with no changes in mining and quarrying.
