MOSCOW, January 21, 2012 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Saturday met with the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill I in the Russian capital Moscow.

Abbas informed Kirill I of the continuous Israeli violations and practices committed against religious holy sites and places of worship in the Palestinian Territory and restrictions on freedom of religion.

Abbas arrived in Russia on Thursday, the third stop in his European tour after Britain and Germany, and will head next to the republic of Chuvashia on the Volga River.
