Israeli Settlers Expand Settlements in Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, July 17, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Sunday started expanding in Maskiot and Mekhola settlements in Jordan Valley area, said Head of the Al-Malih and Bedouin Communities in the Jordan Valley, Aref Daraghmeh.

Witnesses said that settlers started building new floors and rooms for buildings in Maskiot settlement, where a new neighborhood was constructed months ago on large areas of Palestinian land.

Daraghmeh said that settlers are also expanding Mekhola settlement nearby.
