DOHA, July 14, 2011 (WAFA)- Arab League Secretary-General, Nabil Al-Araby, Thursday announced in a press conference following the Arab Follow-Up Committee’s meeting in Qatar's capital, Doha, that the Arab League decided to seek UN recognition and admission of a Palestinian state.
He said that, “The Committee decided to go to the United Nations to call on the member states to recognize a Palestinian state and to apply for a full membership in the General Assembly and in the Security Council.”
