ATHENS, July 4, 2011 (WAFA) – Ships in the Freedom Flotilla II will try and sail to the besieged Gaza Strip at noon Monday, according to Palestinian activist and lawmaker Mustafa Barghouti.
He said from Athens, where he joined members of the flotilla held in Greece after the local authorities banned their ships from leaving to Gaza, that the ships will try to set sail at noon in spite of the Greek ban.
It was not immediately clear how the ships will leave the Greek ports after the government had said it will not allow them to sail.
