RAMALLAH, June 19, 2011 (WAFA) -Azzam al-Ahmed, member of Fatah Central Committee, said Sunday that President Mahmoud Abbas meeting with Chief of the Political Bureau, Khaled Mshal, which was supposed to be held in Cairo next Tuesday is delayed until further notice.

Al-Ahmad told WAFA that “the meeting was postponed due to Abbas’ engagements, but we will call Mashal’s office and reschedule in the next few days, in order to conduct the meeting in an appropriate environment.”

He added that Fatah asked Hamas and the Egyptian leadership to postpone the meeting for few days through a phone call.  

Al-Ahmad hoped that the next meeting will be full of success.
