Israeli Settlers Continue Attack on Palestinian Village

NABLUS, February 23, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Wednesday continued an attack they started Tuesday against the village of Burin, south of Nablus, according to local sources.

Ghassan Douglas, in charge of settlements file in the northern West Bank, told WAFA that settlers burned two cars parked at the entrance of the village and attacked a house with Molotov cocktails.

A number of Palestinians were Tuesday hurt when residents confronted settlers who provoked them when they entered their village. The settlers left only after an Israeli army force arrived at the village.

Extremist settlers regularly attack villages in the Nablus area.
